Book genres, storylines, plots, and the ever so long developing process

Hey y'all! For one of the books I'm writing (though it might not be published for about 20 years) there is the looming developing process for characters, plot, setting, etc. It's daunting, trust me, I've been mulling over this one for about a year now. Though I've discovered that the one of the biggest problem for younger writers is jumping to the climax too soon. If you go through the boring stuff, it builds toward the climax and adds more of what I call "meat" to the storyline.

Also we have to consider and plan out where each and every character will travel and end up, a long with the challenges to face. If you can come up with even more strengths for the enemy, it can make them seem more challenging than we think we want them to be. I find that the stronger they are, the better.

Just keep writing and considering!

A place for writers to converse!!!

Hey there! Nellie here. This place is for youth writers, such as myself. Feel free to post ideas for all those fabulous stories that are buried in the depths of your mind. Comment if you want, but no offensive things, or else you will feel sad that a kitten died somewhere in Australia. Seriously, don't do it. If I post one of my many, many story ideas, please say something about them! Through comments! Yeah! I want your help! Signing off.
